Joe Walsh and Kent Frayn didn’t know when they became college roommates, they would also alter the drinking field forever, by throwing a curveball into the mix.

After an ordinary weekend, the gents woke up to a bewildering scene. Their bottle caps from the night before were stuck together. Over TWENTY of them!

It turned out a set of magnets they owned was holding them together all at once! The guys immediately knew they were on to something big. The Magnetic Bottle Opener!

Less than 36 hours into DropCatch’s KickStarter campaign, they surpassed the monetary fundraising goal they had set for a 30-day span. The magnitude of not only how popular, but necessary their revolutionary item was going to be started to set in.

By the conclusion of the campaign, the magnetic bottle opener had press from countless major publications, including BuzzFeed and the Huffington Post. A social media following was erected overnight as numerous tweets and Instagram posts came flooding in. Everyone continues to talk about Dropcatch as they offer new products in the categories of beer, wine and spirits.

The public insists on receiving quality and here at DropCatch, we are excited to over deliver! We have been involved in the community since our inception by donating to plant trees, contracting local manufacturing, and creating jobs.

We source large-scale wood and metal fabrication from several manufacturers in the area, while hiring employees in our shop to manage small-scale development of new products for market testing.

When a customer places an order - the products are created and shipped right around the corner in Illinois. Our process starts with the end goal in mind, which is delivering high-end products that will endure generations of use and happiness.
